Project Chaos isn’t about history, it’s about legacy,
It’s telling the true stories behind our darkest conflicts.
To remind veterans, active duty military and our families, of the commitment we’ve made and the duty we have.
Acknowledging our victories and the honors that are rightfully ours.
So that our country can be proud.

But it’s more than that...
War is chaos.
Chaos is disorder and confusion.
Much like we see all around us today.
The good news is, veterans are well trained to deal with chaos.
These stories will inspire you to face challenges with confidence.
These stories allow you to step into the shoes of those who have experienced combat, or trained for combat.
Providing a unique perspective on what it's like to endure and triumph over the utter chaos that war can bring.
Yes there will be some fun.
Maybe some dark humor.
Probably some inappropriate comments.
Rest assured the stories will be epic!

A LITTLE ABOUT US
OUR STORY
When the Iraqis attacked Khafii they thought they were attacking the soft center of the coalition. They underestimated the willingness of the small group of supporting Marines to fight back.
Air power had taken out all the Iraqi assets outside the city, but a large number of Iraqis still occupied the city. It would have been easy to turn back but there were Marines trapped in the city.
Time was of the essence. Marines were on a rooftop and Iraqis were in the stairwell. Whether or not those Marines came off that roof top alive was going to depend on how quickly their fellow Marines could deliver the fire power they requested.
In the midst of the chaos, the Marines had a simple job to do. Whether or not they accomplished it would determine the fate of their fellow Marines.

This is a story about a group of young Marines who shared something uncommon, an ironclad commitment that we would never turn our backs on each other. No matter what.

As a young Marine I never imagined the stories we'd share later. These stories are valuable because they remind us of our purpose so we don't forget.
